An IME is an objective assessment of a client’s diagnosis, physical/mental impairment(s) and prognosis for recovery. Based on a comprehensive review of the client’s history, a detailed interview process, and an objective medical evaluation, the examining Physician or therapist provides a detailed report with a prognosis, timelines for recovery, treatment recommendations and expected outcomes of recommended treatment interventions. This is an independent evaluation and an assessment only service.
Apex provides IME’s for people injured in MVA’s or work related accidents to ensure an unbiased and objective opinion on their health. Once completed, a copy of the report is sent to your family doctor, legal representative and any other parties involved.
